Amazon Athena allows users to analyze data in Amazon S3 using Structured Query Language (SQL). AWS Athena is a serverless query service that can be used to read and analyze large amounts of data directly from S3 using standard SQL. S3 Select is an AWS S3 feature that allows developers to execute SQL queries on objects in S3 buckets. The “aws-simplified-results” S3 bucket is used to store the results of my executed SQL queries, which is empty because no query has yet been executed.
As long as you have experience executing SQL queries, you won't need specific training to use the tool.
